The thing I love most is performing. Across my career, I have been lucky enough to develop a mountain of performance experience, beginning from just a few months after I first started playing. Overtime I have been able to build a reputation as a confident soloist, culminating in solo performances in some of the most well-respected venues in my hometown of Manchester, including the Bridgewater Hall and the RNCM Concert Hall.

While I have performed many classical recitals, in recent years I have also moved into folk and vocal performance, building a repertoire of traditional folk and original songs as well as instrumental compositions to establish my unique voice as an artist.

In addition to my career as a soloist, I have played in ensembles of all kinds since I was a young teenager. My conservatoire education means that I am very familiar with the classical orchestral canon, and have performed with orchestras and ensembles all over the British mainland and its outlying islands.

My harp duo, Rascallity, seeks to approach the instrument with a whole new lens through exploration of alternative and contemporary styles. With my lifelong friend and established colleague Kathryn Mason, we work on our own compositions and arrangements of all sorts of musical styles by drawing on influence from a legacy of jazz and folk harpists, including Monika Stadler, Esther Swift, Alice Coltrane and Dorothy Ashby, whose incredible track ‘Rascallity’ gives our project its name.

Don’t hesitate to contact me if you’re interested in booking me as a soloist, as an orchestral harpist, or as part of the Rascallity harp duo for your concert or event.
